Every year the Student Alliance for a Green Earth (SAGE) hosts its annual Earth Day Celebration on campus at Georgia Southern University. Vendors and companies from all over town come together to support green living and and a healthy environment. This year SAGE’s Earth Day Celebration had a new and welcome addition. Merle Norman, the only TOMS vendor in Statesboro, came out to show off the newest line of TOMS Shoes. The students of Georgia Southern couldn’t be happier. TOMS Shoes fit right in with the theme of Earth Day especially with its special line of vegan wrap boots and classics. As the event went on a continuous line of students came by the TOMS table at Earth Day. Most of them overly excited to realize that there was a convenient location to purchase TOMS right in town. A Merle Norman associate brought out all of the latest styles that they had only seen online. Overall the day was a great success. TOMS and Mother Earth work well together and students cant wait to see what they will come up with next.
