So yesterday my very smart roommates were in the kitchen playing with things they shouldn’t have been and they dropped two glasses on the floor and they shattered everywhere. They cleaned up the mess so they didn’t find it necessary to tell me about it. So when I unsuspectingly walked barefoot into the kitchen and was startled by a sharp pain in my foot I didn’t know what to think.  Needless to say I was a little upset with my roommates for not warning me but then I started to think. “Hey, at least I have the option of going in my room and putting on some shoes before I walk into the kitchen again. Some children in other countries don’t have that option. They probably have to walk over things allot worse than a little glass to get to school, or food, or water. That’s another reason why TOM’S is so important. Because let me tell you walking on glass is not a fun thing to do! (and that’s just from my very limited experience) TOM’S gives these children one less thing to worry about in a  life that should be about having fun and learning and being a kid!
